Focus of this RWM was on the journey of theatre. The Chief Guest Jyoti Narayan Nath , an actor, director and an alumni of NSD, highlighted the origins of theatre in ancient Greece, the rise of the middle class and how it led theatre to focus on the lives of common people as well as issues of law and order, and the significant contributions of Safdar Hashmi through his renowned street play.
